We were all
devastated
by that. He

his daughter
that he'd al-
ways wear
his helmet
and he didn't
that
one
time, and he
cracked his
head.

Aside from
losing Doug, it was
getting the album done. It took a long
time for many different reasons. But it
turned out great in the end.
Is there anything special
you do before a set to get
ready?
Josh -
The customary Jager Bomb.
Ryan -
Yeah and that is usually dedicated to
Dougy because he was a big fan of Jager.
Phillip -
There are certain Vermont things that
we do, and they are green like the uphol-
stery in our van.
Ryan -
Then we sacrifi ce a virgin, drink goat's
blood and rock out.
Something tells me your
favorite drink is Jager?
Ryan -
My favorite drink is a Long Island Ice
Tea. But Jager is a staple in the Stonewall
diet.
Phil -
I'm really a big
of Whiskey, or
anything al-
coholic. But
Jager is in the
top fi ve.
Josh -
Myself, I'd pre-
fer anything
a l c o h o l i c .
S o m e t i m e s
water with a
little bit of al-
cohol is good
too.
What is the best venue
in your area? Let us New
Yorkers know.
Ryan -
Honestly with this economy, it's really
starting to suck. We had three great
places where we packed the place;
great following and great people. And
they are slowly closing down. What
bars are left would rather buy a juke-
box than pay a band.
Josh -
Two weekends ago we played one of
our more popular places in the area
called the Heritage, in Charlestown,
NH. It's the best hometown bar in
the area. We pack the place every
time. We found out two days after we
played that the place closed its doors.
It's happening everywhere.
What does the future
hold for Stonewall?
We got some good festivals, Utica
Music Festival and the Northeast
Festival. Stay tuned for a new album
coming out in the next year. Possibly
a Northeast tour and we are possibly
signing up with a booking agent. But
just stay tuned...
